I tried Yoga for the first time in 2005, absolutely loved it and have sustained a regular personal practice since. I have studied extensively with Donna Farhi, attending numerous intensives and retreats, amounting to 800+ hours of study. It was an honour to be accepted onto Donna’s 21-day Advanced Teacher Training in 2010, and I have been a teaching assistant at many of Donna’s workshops in New Zealand and Australia. I accomplished my Yoga certification through The Contemporary Yoga Centre in Auckland, during October of 2017 and I am now a registered Level 4 Yoga Teacher through Yoga New Zealand.
I completed a Level I Teacher Training in iRest® Yoga Nidra with Dr Richard Miller in 2014 and incorporate this practice into my Restorative Yoga classes and monthly mini-Retreats. I have studied Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute of America and am a certified CranioSacral Therapist. I am also an Angelic Reiki practitioner.
I have been sharing Yoga with the North Canterbury community over the past 12 years. I am passionate about Yoga as it can support us in so many ways. This passion is reflected in my teaching. Yoga, for me, is a process of uncovering my true self, befriending my body and using the practice to bring balance, ease and joy into my life and others’ lives. I create a welcoming atmosphere in my classes and enjoy the process of learning and growing with my students.

” Yoga is a wonderful practice to help balance your body, mind and spirit so you can cope more easily with everyday life pressures and stress. The beauty is it can be practiced by anyone… you don’t have to be able to tie yourself in knots or be a particular age, size or shape.”
