Join me for this 1-day Retreat, where we will dive a little deeper in the time we have together, to explore the 8 branches of Yoga as detailed in the sacred Yoga text; The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. With the portrayal from the media and what is offered in most Yoga classes, it’s easy to think that Yoga is simply the practice of physical postures or another form of exercise. Yet there is so much more to this ancient practice! Our Yoga practice can become a deep exploration of Self and a fulfilling life practice that provides unity, a deep inner peace, expansive awareness and the ultimate blessing of discovering ones own True Nature.
Sunday, October 18th, 9.30am-4.30pm, $115
This day will include talking and sharing, active and restorative Yoga practices, breathing practices, chanting and meditation. Please bring a plate for our shared lunch, a water bottle and layers of clothing so you can regulate your temperature. You are welcome to bring your own props if you like although the Manaia props will be available for use on the day. This Retreat will be limited to 12 people and I already have 5 people booked in, so please email me to secure your space in this special one day event!
